Don't get me wrong, I love the Animal Crossing series, but in this installment, it seems that Nintendo only wants to make a quick buck from new player or player who are stupid enough to buy the same game twice (Which includes myself, so that wasn't meant to be an insult).Īll in all, for a new player to the series, great, you've got yourself a game which you can play for, essentially, ever, or at least unti l you got bored of it (Which can be anything between a week or years), for the old player, yay. Yes, there are new things such as the city and some new bugs and fishes to catch, but essentially, it's the same thing.
Although the Animal Crossing as a series is well-made and interesting, the fact that this game is exactly like it's predecessor makes the old players (the one who've played the DS and gamecube one) a bit discouraged in sending more time doing the same thing.
